D: L&L - Part 30 | Narrator: The Oz in the Skies
Bright Lettins goes silent!
Old Pastoria burning!
Yellow Brick Express crashes!
Rumors abound of house falling from sky!
Central Munchkinland remains in a heightened state of alert as the mysterious purple fog this station reported two days ago enveloped the villages of Bright Lettins and Old Pastoria. Reporting is spotty still, and there is no direct connection with either town, but reports are coming in that Old Pastoria is in flames and Bright Lettins is a ghost town.
Flying Monkey patrols have reported mobs of Munchkins moving throughout Old Pastoria, but there seems to be no effort to fight the raging fire as it slowly consumes the small village. These same patrols have confirmed a contingent of Munchkins moving slowly south, heading towards the larger town of Bright Lettins. Patrols over the town report that many buildings seem to be damaged and there are a tremendous number of Munchkinlander corpses littering the two main streets. The number and identities of the dead in either township are unknown at this time.
Additionally, one patrol duo reported a massive accident, stating that the Yellow Brick Express had crashed between Bright Lettins and Old Pastoria and, I quote, "resembled a kink snake in desperate need of a chiropractic adjustment." As of yet, there has been no official comment from the Emerald Express Rail Company.
Please keep in mind that reports are limited as the entire area had been designated a "no-land" zone. Meanwhile, a contingent of tik-toks has been dispatched under order from Emerald Green to restore order and detain any suspicious characters or trouble-makers. Due to the unknown cause of the train wreck, the tik-toks have been dispatched on foot; arrival time is estimated at two days.
In further news, and while this station does not sanction the spread of rumor, various reports have trickled in from Three Dead Trees that a house was seen to have fallen from the sky two days ago. Sources remain anonymous, however, at this time we have received three distinct reports to bolster the validity of this information. Even now, our own crack mobile team, OZ in the Sky, has been dispatched farther south to corroborate the stories.
